Invitation to an international scientific conference at Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija
On 16 April, the traditional international scientific conference "Higher Education for Sustainable Development of a Smart Region" will be held at our institution.
Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija will once again bring together Lithuanian and foreign scientists for this international scientific event, organized in partnership with Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (Turkey), Polytechnic Institute of Braganza (Portugal), Rey Juan Carlos University (Spain), University of Ostrava (Czech Republic), Polytechnic Institute of Porto ISCAP (Portugal), Selcuk University (Turkey), Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava (Romania) and UNESCO Department of Communication Research (Spain).
The conference addresses current and relevant issues in the field. Scientists are invited to discuss the impact of changes in higher education on the training of highly qualified specialists, evidence-based health care practices in the context of holistic health, the role of social dialogue and responsibility in the face of global changes, technological change and its impact on smart societies, applied accounting, finance, and auditing in the context of sustainable business, and artificial intelligence in science and education. Conference papers may be presented in Lithuanian or English.
We expect a large number of Lithuanian and foreign researchers to present their research results at this scientific event. The conference will be held at Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija with a remote participation option.
Participation is free of charge.
Online registration is open until 16 March.
Conference participants will be invited to prepare articles based on their presentations. Articles are planned for publication in the peer-reviewed journal "Professional Studies: Theory and Practice" (ISSN 2345-0576), available through the Open Journal System (OJS): https://ojs.svako.lt/
