The UAS community gathered to discuss important issues
On April 7th teachers and administrative staff of Šiauliai State University of Applied Sciences gathered for a traditional community meeting, where the results of the previous year and important strategic steps for the future were discussed.
Chairman of the Council of Šiauliai State University of Applied Sciences Feliksas Alius Valys summarized the activities of the UAS Council in 2021, emphasized that the need for specialists trained by the UAS remains huge, and wished success for our higher education institution.
The activity report of Šiauliai State University of Applied Sciences in 2021 was presented by the director dr. Lina Tamutienė.
Director also emphasized the key aspects of the strategic plan of UAS for 2022–2024: she specified the vision, mission and values of UAS and talked about the strategic directions for our Institution in the upcoming years.
Deputy Director dr. Nedas Jurgaitis spoke about the forthcoming external evaluation of Šiauliai State University of Applied Sciences: he presented the self-evaluation report and the details of an expert visit, which is planned in May.
