The Director of Šiauliai State College’ address
Šiauliai State College has been working remotely since March 16, in accordance with the resolution of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania to declare quarantine regarding the spread of coronavirus. The situation in the college is under control, life has not stopped, and the study process continues.
Studies for Šiauliai State College students are carried out remotely using distance learning environments Moodle, Classroom, etc. study material is provided by electronic means. Students can consult with teachers via e-mail, various social networks, and other electronic means of communication. Students can take and return books in College libraries. We are proud of the competence of our teachers and preparedness to work in challenging conditions.
We are all looking forward to the end of the quarantine so that every day we can feel a simple joy of direct communication, could have in-person debates in lectures and workshops, as well as in-person colleagues' discussions.
We all hope that in April we will celebrate not only Easter but also the victory over the pandemic. Hopefully, by learning lessons of the virus and becoming more appreciative of what we have, we will return to a normal daily life.
I sincerely wish everyone strength, patience, good mood, and a positive attitude to everything that is happening in our lives.
Director of Šiauliai State College Dr. Natalija Šedžiuvienė
