Šiauliai State University of Applied Sciences – among the fittest in Lithuania
The XXII Lithuanian College Student Sports Tournament is over. Students competed in football, basketball, athletics, table tennis, volleyball and weightlifting games organised by the Rectors' Conference of Lithuanian University Colleges (LKDK) Sports Committee.
After summing up the results of all sports, Šiauliai State University of Applied Sciences won the 2nd place in the young women’ category (187 points), only two points behind the winners – Vilnius University of Applied Sciences (189 points). Kaunas University of Applied Sciences (184 points) was awarded 3rd place.
After summing up the results of all sports in young men’ category, the 1st place was awarded to Vilnius University of Applied Sciences (264 points.), 2nd place - Kaunas University of Applied Sciences (255 points), and 3rd place - Šiauliai State University of Applied Sciences (253 points).
The winners of the XXII Lithuanian College Student Sports Tournament were awarded with cups and medals.
