Lecturer‘s from Spain teaching visit at Šiauliai State University of Applied Sciences
From 27th October to 9th November, lecturer Leyre de Cepeda from the Rey Juan Carlos University in Spain taught a course on “Audio and Video Technologies” for students of the Multimedia Technologies study programme.
“During my visit, I was teaching a workshop focused on using multimedia technology from the neuroscience point of view. The students have learnt many resources like the types of experiences (4Es), the principles of persuasion applied through social media and some theories about behavioural models in technology applications. Finally, they did their own projects in groups of 4-5 students using Canva combined with multimedia content to promote Šiauliai as a perfect destination for new students.” - said the lecturer.
The lecturer taught a seminar titled “What is Freedom?” for the students of the Organisational Communication and Marketing study programme. The seminar was on responsibility for freedom, rules of communication tools, Canva methods, posters, social media, and content dissemination. Lecturer also had meetings with the Informatics Engineering and the Management and Communication Departments and discussed communication activities on how to improve the UAS’ image, future collaboration, etc.
During her stay at Šiauliai, the lecturer also visited the “Rūta” chocolate museum and the Hill of Crosses.
Lecturer’s visit was supported by the fellowship “Support for Foreign Lecturers in the Field of Engineering and Informatics Studies at Šiauliai City Higher Education Institutions” organized by the Šiauliai City Municipality.
