International Dimension at Šiauliai State College
According to the development of the international dimension, Šiauliai State College (SSC) takes third place among Lithuanian colleges.
A higher education institution is international as much as it has international study programmes, i.e. study programmes and subjects taught in foreign languages, full study programmes studied by foreign students, has high academic mobility rates, a wide network of foreign partners, participates in international project activities, has a number of international events, etc.
As of May 2020, the SSC cooperates with 168 institutions from 34 countries. The number of partners is constantly increasing, and the list is getting longer with new countries. Selection to participate in Erasmus+ programme for teachers and students is organized twice a year. Teachers of Šiauliai State College are particularly active.
The latest achievement of Šiauliai State College in the field of the international dimension is the developed project of the double diploma programme in Information Management with the Porto Polytechnic Institute (Portugal).
