Erasmus+ student from Turkiye discovered new opportunities in Šiauliai
My lecturer from my home university in Turkiye visited Šiauliai State University of Applied Sciences for the Erasmus+ exchange. She recommended I come to Šiauliai State University of Applied Sciences for my Erasmus+ studies. I passed the selection process and was chosen to be one of the students who will come to Lithuania.
I'm studying Nursing at the Health Care Faculty. When I first came here I could not believe that the things my lecturer told me about Šiauliai were true. For instance good people, a clean city and green nature. I made a lot of Lithuanian friends, and the lecturers are kind and helpful.
I had two internships, one at Šiauliai Geriatric hospital another was in Radviliškis hospital. The Doctors and nurses were so kind they helped me and the patients were friendly. I received a lot of experience from my internships.
Moreover, I had the opportunity not only to visit Šiauliai city but also some European countries, and participate in various events in Šiauliai State UAS.
