Changes in the name of our higher education institution
Our higher education institution has many partners in various countries around the world and is actively participating in the exchange programme ERASMUS+ as well as engaging in other international activities and is known not only in Lithuania, but abroad as well.
From now on another name of Šiauliai higher education institution will be used in the international arena.
Following the experience of European higher education institutions, the practice of the Lithuanian higher education area, with the approval of the Directorate of a higher education institution and the Academic Council, the name of our higher education institution is translated into English as Šiauliai State University of Applied Sciences and in Russian – Шяуляйский государственный университет прикладных наук from 1st September of this year.
These names are now used in all communication of our higher education institution in foreign languages.
