A TRULY MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE
From 13 April to 17 April, 2026 Flaka Jonuzi from AAB College in Kosovo visited Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution as a part of the Erasmus+ training mobility programme and participated in the International Week activities.
We are sharing Flaka’s visit experience:
“During my recent visit to Šiauliai, I had the opportunity to take part in a very rich and well-organized international programme at Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution. From the beginning, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. One of the highlights of the visit was the Cultural Booth, where I had the chance to experience different cultures, meet colleagues from various countries, and enjoy a friendly, informal environment that encouraged networking and exchange.
A very special moment was the National Dinner at restaurant “Žemaitis”. The traditional food, cozy atmosphere, and authentic Lithuanian environment made it one of the most enjoyable parts of the entire programme. It was not only a dinner, but also a cultural experience that brought everyone together in a relaxed and joyful way.
I also really enjoyed the workshop “Lego Serious Play for Employees’ Welfare”, led by Dr. Vita Juknevičienė. It was interactive, creative, and very engaging. Using Lego as a tool for reflection and teamwork made the session both fun and meaningful, offering new perspectives on well-being at work.
The most outstanding and unforgettable part of the entire experience was the final day at Biržai Castle. This visit brought everything together in a unique way, combining history, culture, and tradition. We had the opportunity to learn about Lithuanian heritage, traditional food, dancing and singing, and immerse ourselves in an authentic cultural setting. The atmosphere, the stories, and the overall experience made it truly exceptional and, without doubt, the highlight of the entire visit.
Overall, my visit to Šiauliai was not only professionally enriching but also full of memorable social and cultural experiences. I return with new ideas, valuable connections, and very positive impressions of both the institution and the city.”
