Objectives of a study programme and intended learning outcomes

Objective of a study programme – to prepare electrical engineers seeking to improve and capable of autonomous selection of electrical and automation equipment and their systems for the organisation and execution of installation, adjustment, operation and repair of equipment.

1. Knowledge and application of ways of calculation, physical phenomena and quantitative expression of these phenomena

2. Knowledge of functional function of electrical and electronics components, their interconnections and application of them

3. Knowledge of the design and operation of electrical equipment and automation systems

4. Knowledge of the principles of controllers, microcontrollers, electric drives and other electrical devices

Research skills

Ability to perform engineering analysis:

6. To analyze automation processes and make technical and economic solutions for automation development
