On 17-20 September, Gina Zdanavičienė, the NEOLAiA project Communication Manager of Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija, took part in the annual conference-exhibition of the European Association for International Education in Toulouse.

The event brought together more than 7000 participants from all over the world, as well as more than 20 European university alliances participating in the European Commission's initiative to promote internationalisation and cooperation in higher education.

Together with the partner universities of the NEOLAiA alliance, ŠVK's representative in the project, G. Zdanavičienė, took part in the Higher Education Exhibition. Together, the alliances presented their initiatives, objectives and cooperation opportunities to the participants. The exhibition, which included various activities, gave NEOLAiA and the other alliances the opportunity to showcase their impact on European higher education and their efforts to address common challenges, such as student mobility, research cooperation and inclusive education initiatives.

NEOLAiA's stand attracted a lot of attention from academics, researchers and policy makers interested in an innovative approach to building a transnational education network. The representatives of the Alliance presented NEOLAiA’s projects to support student and staff mobility, interdisciplinary research, inclusion and diversity, and the integration of new technologies to create a connected European education system.
